this is so strange. I'm 5.5 weeks out and lost just under 40 pounds.
I was eating about 4 oz per meal as I began my soft food diet last week. I ate slowly and definitely got that feeling of when was full and often didn't finish my meal or take a bit longer to finish it.
Yesterday, I ate a Greek yogurt and realized I ate 5oz with no problems. No full feeling. huh Today, all my meals have been the same way. Even drinking Water. That funny feeling in my stomach to tell me I'm full is gone. If I hadn't measured out my portion, I probably could have eaten more? I also noticed that I would only be able to finish half a small cup of coffee and today and I could drink all of it with no physical signal/issues. Can even drink water more easily. I did increase my water intake quite a bit b.c of severe constipation and Dr. told me to increase it.
I find this so strange. Anyone else experience this? I actually liked the physical sensation of feeling super full. It was a good signal for me. Can a stomach suddenly stretch out?
