When can you eat lettuce or a salad?

I'm beginning the soft stage tomorrow. I know lettuce probably isn't considered a soft food, but can anyone tell me when you can begin with lettuce/salads? Thanks for any help!

Hi everyone :)
I'm new to posting but have been following the boards for weeks since I had RNY December 6th. Thank you to everyone for all the confidence you share with each other and the sincerity and courage you show when sharing your stories. It's given me such comfort :)

My question about salads is if we can use them (veggies only) to tie us over when we get hungry between meals. I've been getting hungry a lot lately even though I'm getting 80-100 g of protein, all my water, eating slowly etc. has this happened to anyone else at 3 months?

My dr cleared me for lettuce (wraps) when I went to normal foods.

I am pretty sure I will be cleared for veggies and salad at my 3 month follow up appointment.

When I get hungry I drink a protein drink like Isopure or Atkins Lift.
