Does anyone know if Mucinex is okay for liver shrinking diet?

Or even anything for like allergies. I'm dying here. What's okay?

I got a cold while I was doing my liver shrinking diet. They said it was fine to take cold medicine but to avoid anything with NSAIDs. I took Mucinex and I never stopped my allergy medicine (rhinocort and Zyrtec). But all doctors are different so you may get different guidance from your doctor.

My bariatric nurses told me that I could take claritin because my sinuses are draining and making me vomit(since I got my sleeve on 1/30 I was worried about vomiting, but they reassured me) so I take a claritin quite a bit, to avoid vomiting. Hope this helps! :-)
