Anyone know of Dr De Bruyne Chris

Hi

I have decided to get the procedure done - just have to save up for it. I live in uk and want to go to Brussels as it seems cheapest and safest there. Anyone know of the above?

Thanks

Hi Gillian, thats great to get your third fill in 2 weeks hopefully you get good result, how much can they put in the first fill,i know wont have much the first time hopefully it wont take to many with the small band, sounds really strange saying the small band never been small in anything:lol:

I lost a stone and a couple of pounds that includes pre op diet haven't lost anything since last friday, seems to have come to a stand still has this happened to anybody after surgery, my hubby says my body's gone into starvation mode doesn't want to let fat go :sneaky: when does the swelling go down in your tum looks like im having twins:confused:

Hi Wisfull,it will be great for you if you get good restriction with your next fill fingers crossed

Hi Sammy, hope your feeling better today:smile:

Hi Kakasdaughter, how are you keeping im feeling great today:smile:

Hi garry, hope all goes well with your bump when are you getting it drained:smile:

Hi Freckles, how are you and your mum doing:smile:

Sorry if i left anybody out hope your all doing ok:smile:

think youll get a max of 2 or 3 mls on your first fill..and yes your husband is right (i dont like saying men are right!) your body does go into a sort of starvation mode after you have lost quite a lot in one go,and dramaticly cut your food intake down, and it tries to hang onto its fat stores, you get tired too cos its not giving you energy..i think this has happened with most of us here after the first week or two, and then you seem to have a week or two where its at standstill, but dont give up, it will start again, albeit slower..then hopefully you will lose a pound or two a week, til you have your first fill, then after a few fills, the average loss is about 2lb a week, which doesnt sound much but its over a stone every two months, or 7.5 stone in a year! good luck anyway, your doing just as you should, sounds normal, (even tho its frustrating not to drop it all overnight!..that would be great, but the magic bands not invented yet unfortunatly, or id have had one fitted.LOL!) its still hard work though isnt it! x

Hi shoes i had 3ml on the 1st fill and 2ml on my 2nd.. i felt i had more restriction after my 1st fill than what i do now, iv got to try and be good. Glad your doing so well x

Best of luck tomorrow. I hope you are able have a fill too.

What does the lump look like? I have a painful lump in my inside arm just past my wrist where the central line was put. It's not huge but I think it's getting slightly bigger. I'll give it a couple of days and go docs if it doesn't go.

Yeah you do have to try and get a few calories down don't u? I am aiming for at least 1000. The weight is coming off already! I feel so bloated though with gas and liquid!! I tried to get some of those biscuit things they gave us in hospital as I was told we could have them at home as they melt in your mouth. They'd sold out when I did my on line shop so I got some quavers! I feel a bit nauseous still and they seem to help. I have some liquid Multivitamins I need to start taking too.

I haven't had any painkillers today which is good. I have been having lemsip to get the paracetamol inside me :sneaky:! I tried the nurofen melts and they made me heave! I am soooo bad at taking any medication you can taste!!

I have booked my first fill for one day short of 4 weeks. Do people think that is OK? Otherwise it's gonna be 7 weeks and I really don't wanna wait that long!

I will have a look for the dutch bakes in Sainsbury's tomorrow. I was annoyed Waitrose have run out - grrrrrrrrrr! I don't think the liquid only diet helps bloating but it's all worth it I guess! Where are you getting ur fills done? I am getting my first one done in Manchester as it's an hour from my mum then it'll be London after that.

I tried some of the liquid multi Vitamin and it's nasty! Me and medicine!!

Has anyone found any vitamin tablets that go down OK once on solid foods?

I feel like a lady of leisure as my husband is doing all the baby chores!! I just feed him and that's it! (Baby not husband! He's on micromeals for a week :sneaky:!!)

I wonder how Fatpants got on? She must be back tomorrow. I did keep my eyes open on Monday lunchtime as we left the Campanile!!
