'Ello there!

Not been on for a few days. Hubby is back at work so I'm on my own for a couple of months. I don't get as much time to play!!

I hope everyone is OK and good luck Can't Weight!!

Flirty - you poor thing. You should be proud you have lost so much weight with no restriction.

Freckles - hope ur mom is doing OK

I went for an in touch day at work today. We went out for lunch. I had a couple of small pieces of french bread that went down OK but the cous cous didn't! Ouch!!

I can't wait for my fill on Thursday and hope to see at least a few of you!!

Gillian - the ground rice sounds yum!

Hi sammy, not tried cous cous yet, but can imagine its one of the things id get stuck too..its sort of sticky and stodgy like rice suppose...does any of your friends who you went out with for lunch know about your band?. the ground rice was nice esp with little blob of strawberry jam!..my mum showed me how to make it earlier, its amazingly quick and easy!..and my youngest son has gone a bundle on it too, so ill be making pans full!. I am sure that having this band will help you in your next pregnancy, and youll breeze through it! x

Bigsis/Gillian - how do you make the ground rice? My baby may like it and I'm sure I could help him out if he gets full!

unless bigsister replies to you first, i will give you the recipe my mum wrote down tommorrow, think its something like pint milk (any milk, skimmed whatever) sure she said ounce of ground rice and ounce of sugar, mix it all up in pan and keep wisking (my mum used balloon wisk) until its to the boil, then its done. but its so cheap and easy...im sure your baby will love it!

Hey caroline where did ur mum get her tummytuck ? I cant wait to get my arms done their first on my list but im terrified of bad scars

Hi Flity, sorry i havent been on in a while, my mum went through beaucare in belgium.

I think with arms you have to carefull and choose a really good surgeon though to minimize on scars. I have been doing some research and there is the arm lift where they make a cut by your arm pit and pull the top of your arm up like a sleeve and cut the excess and then sow back up so you only have the one smallish scar under your arm.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
