Hello, @rolo626.

Eight days post-op I could probably have about 2 ounces of broth or strained Soup. I would add unflavored Protein powder.

If I may, how fast are you having your meals?

I'm 8 days out and have about 2 tablespoons yogurt for breakfast. 8 oz protein shakes twice a day and a mug of clear soup for dinner (usually finish about half). Also pudding or ice pops for snacks. I do feel hungry between meals. NUT says it's my brain but stomach is growling. Moving to soft foods in 2 days.

Wow! I am 9 days post op and I can only get 2 1/2 to 4 ounces of soup broth. If it is cream soup it is on the low end compared to liquid broth soups. I constantly sip water through out the day and have a schedule where I have my meals, shakes, milk and popsicles and I still can't meet my ounces. I use the unflavoured protein powder to reach my protein goals. Good luck and good health to you!

i'm a week and 1 day outta surgery and feel great and my doctor gave me the ok yesterday to eat soft meats and i ate 2 ounces or tuna and shrimp with the day and feels great and full and in 3 weeks i have to go back so he can give me the ok for veggies and i had no major or intense pain within my surgery i had sleeve plus a lot of scar tissue removed from the lapband and hernia repaired and i feel super
