Hi all! I began working with my WLC in the beginning of November and had decided that bypass was the right choice for me. Reason being that I had acid reflux for most of my life. Today I met my surgeon (he was so wonderful I was so suprised!) and he told me he thought that the sleeve would be the best option for me and my weight loss. I listened to him explain why he believed all of this and I trust his medical opinion. My trouble is I have spent my last year reading blogs, stories, and posts galore on bypass. Any sleevers out there have some advice on recovery and the long run? Submitted my paperwork and they said they would shoot to have surgery the first week in february, need all the stories I can before then!!
