I've had seriously dry skin since surgery, never have had dry skin in my whole life.. usually have normal to lightly oily skin.

I've tried multiple lotions and have even used the lotions nurses use to keep their skin moisturized!! Nothing is working... my skin is sooo dry and itches!!!

Anyone have this problem?

Any ideas what I can so?!!

I have had this issue. I upped my Water intake and have used gold bond diabetic lotion. It helped me.

I am 3 months post op & almost from the beginning I went from oil skin to dry skin. My face is so dry. I have been using St. Ives Timeless Skin for my face. I also use the cream lotion from Bath & Body works for rest of body.

I used lotion and added an essential fatty acid supplement to my vitamin regimen and my dry skin went away.

I started taking Hair,Skin and Nails gummy bites before surgery.I have continued this.It has helped me.I also use store brand Lubriderm.

I've added fish oil supplements. We're lacking essential fats in our diets which can cause dry skin.
