I know this thread is sort of old but it looks like some of you are still active here. I’ve had my consult With Dr Fitzer and first meeting with the dietician Jessica. Slowly going through the process. Your posts have been informative and encouraging. How are you all doing now that you a year or two post op?

Hi KelliG2020. I just had my one year anniversary and couldn't be more satisfied. I was only aiming for a final weight of 140 and now weigh 120. Jessica actually wants me to start eating a bit more! That's the first time in my life anyone had told me that...?

I can't say enough good things about Dr Fitzer and his team. They've changed my life.

Good luck to you with your own journey, keep us posted!

Hey everyone! I know it’s a very old thread but seems like some of y’all are still active on here. I’m a 23 year old I had the bypass with Dr. Fitzer he and his team are AMAZING!! My surgery weight was 248lb, I am now 220lb I am 5 weeks post op. I had no complications and am doing pretty well! My only concern I’m having right now is a stall. I’ve been 220 for two weeks & half week now ?? anyone of y’all went through a stall? If so how to break it.

Stalls are discouraging, but almost everyone here has had them, some of us several! Just trust the process, stick with your plan, and the scale WILL start moving again, I promise!

Today is just a year since the last post here. I'm having sleeve with Dr. Fitzer in January 3rd at Inova Oaks hospital

Is there someone who like to share his experience?

Thank you

I had surgery with Dr Fitzer, it was 3 years in May. I had an awesome experience with him and his staff.
