Everything was submitted to insurance on Friday and they have 5 days to give you an answer and I am not patient at all lol its so hard not to call them everyday and ask if they have an update yet. I am just staying strong in prayer and hoping that it is approved so I can start my new life and journey. Please sprinkle me with some patience dust lol

Mine was sent on Thursday. received denial letter on monday. They have reopened my file. I am praying for you both to receive the APPROVAL.

This is my fear. My BMI is the only thing that qualifies me for the surgery. I have no co-morbidities. My surgeon and his team are far more optimistic than I am. They said the insurance companies have requirements and you meet them or you don't. They can't and shouldn't deny based on anything other than their requirements. But that doesn't make sense because we see it all the time!

I meet all my requirements. The doctors office thinks a code they put on they don't like. I am now in pending not denied. I heart sunk when I received that letter. I still have a chance.

Im told that insurance companies often play a wording "game" and you just have to stay persistent and you'll get your approval. I request approval next month so any info helps.
