I'm having surgery Wednesday. I had 2 c.setions before and I do have lots of scar tissue...can that be a problem the day the go In...? Can they stop the surgery? I self pay.

From my understanding, scar tissue isn't generally a problem. It does make the surgery last a little longer but for the most part, if they do stop, it's because it's far too dangerous to continue (or taking far too long), and you wouldn't want them to continue under those circumstances anyway. I don't think you'd have a problem though.

I had a c-section as well, and I asked my surgeon about it. He said it isn't an issue because he will be operating much higher up on the abdomen. I also had my gallbladder removed, and he wasn't concerned about that either.

I had C sections and gallbladder and tubal ligation scar tissue. None of it made no never mind.

I had scar tissue from previous surgeries but mine came out ok 7 days post op today.

I had scar tissue - said it might be need for a drain, but woke up having done just fine with no drain
