Pre-op liquid diet: crashed!

I'm halfway through my clear liquid diet & I have stuck to it religiously (protein/vitamins/no solid food/liquid goals)

I've been feeling pretty good (once I got past day 3) BUT this morning I woke up feeling so drained & lifeless. I'm not even hungry just dragging!

I still have a week to go! Is this normal??? Have others experienced this?

I'm anxious about the surgery next week too...

I'm progressively gaining energy as the day goes on but it was really f*cking hard to get out of bed this morning.

What is this hormonal flushing you speak of?

CW 227 5'5" 61yrs

Fat stores hormones so as you lose weight - you can often get a flood of hormones released. It can cause some moodiness and often an increased libido. Have fun! ????
Does this generally happen within a certain predictable timeframe?

I believe during the rapid weight loss period. I don't think it happens with everyone.

Thank you so much for this information. I don't think I've come across this in any of my other reading so far.
