Right now I'm opening the capsule and shaking some in my mouth followed by sips of Water. I hate that. What are others doing? I know in a couple of weeks, I can sprinkle them in applesauce or something else pureed.

So I assume there is nothing liquid or chewable?

I had to take Rabeprazole and my thyroid med, the day after my op. Both are small tablets and slippery, so I just took them with bit of Water, and I was fine.

A month later I had to switch to Nexium 40mg, now these large, really large tablets. However by then, I could swallow them with no issues.

I take mine whole but have learned to take earlier in evening or in AM. They tend to hang up if you lay down after taking.

I too was cleared to take mine day after surgery. They're are small and were no issue.
