Anyone use Dr Borland in New Iberia, Louisiana recently? Would like to hear results, etc. Heard great things about him but latest posts have been back in October last year.

Sorry, just saw your response! It wasn't there a minute ago - glad you're doing so good!! 18 pounds is awesome!! I started working not today. Still mostly cardio but plan on starting back with weights as soon as I drop 10 more.

He told me I needed to go to a cardiologist and then he gave me clearance and requested bloodwork, EKG and ultrasound of my heart. I will tell you that the cardio tried to talk me out of it saying I didn't need it (lower bmi patient). I just listened, thanked him for his opinion and went on my way. He did give me clearance tho. I also had to have an EGD. He tried to talk me out of it too. My mind was already made up tho

I just went to a local Cardiologist. I don't live in New Iberia. Then I had my records faxed to Dr Borland.

My doc approved me everything is good now. I was a lil nervous about getting denied so my blood pressure was lil high. So he gave me meds for it so that don't stop the surgery.

I'm doing awesome! I'm down 18lbs in 5 days. I'm working as hard as I want. No problems drinking anything. It's great!! I could jog if I wanted but I'll wait til I see him Monday before I start running.

I'm still doing really good. Down 21lbs and as active as I want to be. I still crave food but it's not hunger. I also feel like I could take in more than I should. I just make sure I don't. Are you still scheduled for the 13th?
