Hi, I am glad to find a current post about Dr. Borland. I had an appointment with him today, and he was very nice. I scheduled my surgery for December. I was wondering how did you all take care of your blood work and x-ray. Did your family doctor do it and file on insurance? Dr. Thomas Borland in New Iberia, LA does the sleeve for $9,800, but you don't stay in the hospital. You have to get a hotel room there, and he checks in on you at the hotel. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I am still trying to decide on who and where I want to do a sleeve surgery. I just found a dr that is self-pay only 1.5 hours from my home, but I can't find any recent info on him.
