Swelling around incision on left side. 10 days post op

I feel swelling around the incision on my right side. It's under my skin and it feels like a big lump. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I have a light bruising outside of it as well. Is this normal?

@@sleeverv Did you call your surgeon about this?? That would be my first step. It could be normal (scar tissue) - but I wouldn't take a chance.

Yes, I actually went in to see a nurse yesterday and they said it looks perfectly normal. Just part of the healing process.
