I'm 4 days post op and my surgeon requires I do a 2 week clear liquid diet, 2 week full liquid diet and then add Protein supplements at week five. This just does not sound right to me. What did your NUT require? Thanks.

I'm half way to getting the surgery approved. I still need 3 more weight management visits. But I did have the conversation with my doctor already and he told me after day 2 after the surgery he wants me on Protein shakes. Why your doctor wants to wait 2 weeks is wierd. Protein is very important.
