Oh my goodness! Yesterday, my August 24th surgery is now set in stone! I'm so excited!

StaceyWJ- Do they ever combine the surgeries so you would just have to go in once? I can see your hesitation for two surgeries during the summer.

I am (hopefully) getting my band out and my sleeve in one surgery. The DR says there is a slight chance that the scar tissue might be too severe to do them both in one surgery, if that's the car I'd have to wait 2 months until I get sleeved, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he can do it all at once, I've already had 2 gastric surgeries and really don't want two more!!

August 22 over here!!! It's not "hitting me" yet. But once I get all my pre op tests done, I think it will feel more real!!!!

My dr stated that I would need to heal for a few weeks to ensure there is somewhere to staple for the sleeve. He stated in most cases getting them done at the same time will not have the best recovery.

I am hoping for end of August! Will find more out on my 7/5 appointment. Good luck to all and I am looking forward to supporting each other [emoji256]

I am having mine on the 31st as well! It was the 24th but got rescheduled. However, I'm so excited!!!! How about you?

My surgery is now August 31 at 5:30am! A minor setback, but its ok.

I started my liquid diet 4 days ago. I'm so crabby and tired of desert flavored Protein shakes. Anyone have any ideas about how to make them taste like real food?

@@Mammy56 I hate the dessert flavored protein drinks, too. I drink them like medicine. Unjury's chicken soup protein powder isn't too bad, but it's very watery.
