Does anyone dance for exercise?

I dance a bit for fun but I thought it'd be really cool to dance for exercise! I listen to a variety of music like jpop, kpop, jrock, hip hop etc so there's so much I can dance to. I'm just worried about my stomach.

    I Zumba and belly dance. Right now I am cleared to walk and do light weights in a chair. I like group exercise. Hopefully I will be cleared to go back to my regular activities.

    I am a dancer and I teach dance. When you say something might come loose are you referring to surgery? My surgeon and I had this conversation post op. I need clear rules or I find loop holes. She was frank and said, "nothing is coming undone but you will make yourself very sore if you do too much too soon."
