Looking for Breakfast Ideas

I am 3 weeks post-op and on soft foods. I have been cleared to eat meat as long as I chew well.

I am struggling with Breakfast. Protein shakes are very heavy on my morning tummy and don't sit very well until the late afternoon. Also, my tummy doesn't like eggs just yet. I'm hoping that will improve as time goes on because I love eggs and egg included things like quiche, custard, and so on.

To make things more complicated I DESPISE Greek yougurt, regular yougurt, and cottage cheese.

I wondered if anyone had any non-egg or shake breakfast ideas.

Okay so three weeks out don't experiment with pancake syrup; this is just ridiculous to suggest. Anyway again at 3 weeks out you may want to revisit those foods you say you don't like; try different brands, cook different ways. I pureed my cottage cheese and added sugar free pudding flavours, delish! It is way too early on to start having cheese strings, deli meats, pancakes, porridge, cream of wheat, you need your protein at this stage. You might just want to stick with protein shakes until your stomach heals and then in time you may be able to start eating some of the foods you currently can't; good luck!

I believe she was told to go to soft foods by her physician. Experimenting with sugar free syrup is not ridiculous. I understand you've "been there, done that' but everyone is unique. I do like the idea of pureeing the cottage cheese and adding sugar free pudding flavours. I'm going to try that one this evening!
