Hi all! I'm in Houston and had a huge letdown yesterday when the surgeons office told me I had a 3 month waiting period, per my horrible insurance company. mHealth is the worst insurance I've ever had!!!!!. Anyone have a work around for this! I cannot wait 3 months! I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel but now is further away. I know you know how I'm feeling. I'm thinking I will pay out of pocket. Any advice????

I also had a three month waiting period. I used the time to go to group, work on my low carb diet and prepare mentally as well as physically. I found it went by fairly fast but now I wouldn't trade that time for the world.

Remember either way this is a marathon not a sprint.

I was told 6 months and now that I have had my psych eval it might take longer. I don't have that insurance either.

I have made the decision to pay out of pocket. I look at it as an investment in my future. Now I am in control and making the decisions. NOT the insurance company.
