So, I have always loved tea but with my liquid pre op diet I am crazy addicted!

Let me just say I like tea with lemon and don't like sweet iced tea.

I do love any green citron type teas, green tea with lemon. Earl grey with bergamot, Lady grey.

I love Harney and Sons teas. Amazing! Their citron green and especially their Paris.

The Paris is a black tea with vanilla and it's one of my favorite sit and relax with a cup type teas.

I also love Mariage Fréres, their black teas are excellent!

I do not however like any fruit type teas...berry etc. not my thing.

My new thing is to brew a pot of tea when I get home from work and drink tea all evening Until bed time. And I drink at least 5 cups a day at work.

I may need a program to detox me off the tea! Lol

So what are your favorites? I may need to explore new teas!

I love tea and herbal infusions, too. I went a bit tea nuts when I was weaning myself off of carbonation (before I went decaf), so I have a ton of tea.

Now that I am post-op and mostly caffeine free, my NUT said I can have up to one cup of caffeinated tea a day and the rest has to be Decaf.< /p>

I have loose tea.

Blends.

Bags.

Sachets.

Pyramids.

Herbs.

I even bought a bag of sassafras bark and bags of peppermint and spearmint at an Amish store last week!

My favorite: Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice (I have both regular and decaf and really can't tell the difference with the decaf which was a nice surprise).

We have a local tea shop (Elmwood Inn) which makes some lovely blends. They sell on their website if you are interested in trying some of their teas. I love the Kentucky Blend hot and it also makes a great iced tea. I drank a lot of it the summer I gave up carbonation. I have a green tea/rose blend that is really nice. There are several others I like (Serenity has chamomile, etc.). I can't remember them all. I have several.

Between Harney & Sons, Elmwood Inn, Tazo, Luzianne (I am southern afterall), and Chinese teas, I think I have more space devoted to tea in my pantry than actual food.

I also make a lot of iced tea with green tea and mint in the summer.

I agree!

My tea cabinet is crazy! I love loose teas with a tea ball or infused for at home as well as pyramids, sachets and buy individually wrapped bags for work and travel.

I am definitely going to look into your suggestions..I am always up for new teas! We have a local shop and I could spend hours in there perusing the lose tea bins etc.

And the tea with mint in the summer sounds divine!

I am not too much of a tea fan, but I do like "T and A"; but that's a post for a different forum. ;)

Empty tea tins are so useful!

I just started using an empty Harney and sons chamomile tin as a small sewing kit. Easy to keep on a shelf in my closet for fast button or hem repairs but easier than dragging my big sewing kit out.

I also use an empty tin in my work bag to store a myriad of individually wrapped tea bags for work.

Yeah, that's correct. That is what I meant, additives like whipped cream. ;)

I love tea too but I must admit at this time I am drinking boring old Lipton Decaf! Does it count as real tea?

I love all the flavors at Republic of Tea. I try to stick with some low oxalate versions (due to kidney stones) which is green tea and herbal. They also have some Decaf options for these. I have a cucumber mint that is very good. Mango passionfruit is really good. A peppermint bark yummy! I drink them hot and I pour them over ice. SO good and helps when I am tired of just Water.

Of course it does! I love plain Lipton black tea epically in the summer iced with lots of lemon!

I also love the teas from Trader Joes

Their autumn tea is great, lots of cinnamon in it. And their winter peppermint tea is awesome ! My favorite tea to drink cold .

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
