Surgery Date January 13th.

I've had so many mixed feelings and so many questions now that surgery is just a few days away. There are times when I'm alone and find myself thinking heavily about what I'm about to do and if I should move forward with it. Then, I look at the bigger picture and get emotional because this is not about myself alone, it's about my boys. They mean the world to me and I will do anything that I can to live to see them grow up, be successful and have a family. Then, I think about how i lost my father when I was 14 and he was only 43 year young, from health issues. I was devastated and I refuse to give up knowing that I giving up means that my children could be faced with the same thing. I encouraging myself and everyone else who is here, making a choice to have a healthier life. Best of luck to everyone!

Congratulations to you! In the beginning, I was so happy to have that surgery date. The liquids have been difficult for me and I almost gave up. I'm happy to be moving forward with surgery on Wednesday.

Hi all my 13th partners. I just found out I don't need to be at the hospital till 11. I was originally told I should be first, and now I'm the 3rd. I had my mind set that I would be in there early and I won't have to wait around. Not to mention I can't even have anthing to drink. I am just so nervous and I have been getting so upset and crying to my husband. I just hope that they will be able to give me something when I first get there to calm me down. I'm such a BABY ..

I've been secretly crying. I think I'm driving my guy crazy. So I try not to talk to him about it anymore. Oh well, I have you all who are sharing the feelings and emotions with me. At least, someone understands.

I definitely understand that. My husband has no idea of all the emotions and nerves that come with this.

You'll be fine, don't worry! I was scared to death on the days leading up to my surgery, but it couldn't have gone any better. You will be surprised afterwards, how little pain you had when you woke up! Best wishes for you tomorrow!

My fellow January 13th sleevers, how did things go? Things went very well with my surgery and I was home the next day. Little to no pain and just trying to keep th gas away.. I would love to hear from everyone, to know that all is well.
