First fill today and have to do liquids for 4 days

I went for my first fill today and thought I would only have to do 24 hours of liquids only to find out that I have to be on liquids for 4 days. It's the pits since our family reunion is tomorrow. I wanted to at least try to eat a grilled burger but I guess, I'd better fill up on Protein Shakes. Did anybody else have to go back to the shakes for 4 days? I wanted to eat a salad from Quiznos but I guess I should have ate it yesterday because I want be able to now for 4 days.:help:

Every fill that I have received, I was on liquids for 24 hours. The day after the fill, I ate what I could.

I Had A Fill Yesterday And Was Told 2 Days Of Liquids. I Have Been Able To Eat Soups And Soft Stuff With No Problems.

I had my first fill today and was told nothing about any dietary restrictions, so I have eaten normally. What problems could I develop?

Thanks.

hi, i had my fill on last tuesday. i only need to go liquid for 24 hours and then slowly get back into the groove of things. my nurse even said that i can eat a little yogurt not with the fruit.

Most that I've seen, including me, had a 24 hours of liquids and 1 day of soft to gradually get you up to solids again. 4 days seems like a really long time. It's not a bad idea though!
