I have a wound that is separating a.little as it heals. I am using bandaids but what are the little strips that keep scars from widening?

Steri strips is what I've always heard.

Do you mean the Steri-strips that they apply across the sutured incision?

In the old days we called them butterflies, but yes, steri strips.

I was gonna say butterflies but I think they are called steri-strips now. they used them on my port incision when I had my band done. they said don't pull them off they will fall off when ready.

Steri strips is the name I know them by.

Pharmacy had butterfly but not steri strips.... I think they will do just fine.
