So I was scheduled for 930am. Just about to leave when I get the call, the sterilizer machine broke so all the surgical cases in the hospital were cancelled. Was on clears for 2 days, was told to stay on clears and they would try to get me in tomorrow. Got the phone call at 5pm, nope. Probably won't happen till Monday/Tuesday of next week. I'm sooooo disappointed. I'm actually a nurse at that hospital so I understood that weird things happen, but why on my surgical day!!! I feel like I need to get into that mind frame again. Now I feel run down and possibly getting a cold.

And word of encouragement would be helpful! I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard to after today!!!!

It's a delay, not a cancellation...

Yep, it's a pain in the arse...

Dang...well I say that at the airport too. it's an important piece of equipment, so don't do it until they get it fixed

I feel bad that this has happened to you, but stay strong and focused on the goal at hand. In your journey towards a healthier life this is only a misstep. Stay strong. You can do it!!!

Don't worry it will happen. Mine got delayed from August to November. So I get it but it's just a few days and it'll be here before you know it

It's better it failed. Imagine if it was malfunctioning, it didn't sterilize the equipment properly and you had your procedure?.

Consider it a mixed blessing.
