How much weight have you lost in the first 10 days?

I know that everyone is different and we all loose at different rates but I'm just so worried that I'm not doing this right.. I'm 10 days post op today and have lost 14lbs..

I'm 17 days post op and day of surgery is was 183, as of today I'm 165. So yes, it all depends on each individual.

I agree, I am 2 weeks post today and have only lost 14 lbs. I feel like I'm eating and drinking nothing an that maybe the problem. Then I hear about "stalls"! This all seems so overwhelming to me. I feel like when I do it, I overeat, mind you 1/2 cup thick liquid. Ugh was VGS right for me?

Stop. All of you. Just stop doing this do yourselves.

This is not a race, and your goal the first few weeks is NOT to lose weight, it is to heal from your surgery. Will you lose weight? Undoubtedly. Your bodies, all of you, have been through a lot.The first order of business for your body is to heal. For that, all you need to do is follow directions - get your Protein, get your fluids, do your walking. Trust the process.

Yes, I'm being very blunt about this. I'm serious. I have coached people into and out of surgery and postop phases for more than 30 years. Take your scale and give it to your best friend or your next door neighbor if you have to, but get off the damned thing for the first few weeks.
