I can't seem to bring myself to walk into a gym. My self confidence is low and I feel like if I walk in everyone will stare and wonder what a fat girl is doing there. How can I workout without a gym? I mean this is a for real paralyzing fear. Anyone else have similar thoughts or issue?

Thank you Jamie. I am having a hard time with the working out. I was doing really well with an at home regimen but I am a single mom of 2 and a full time student so a lot of stress right now. I don't have the self confidence to go to a gym and am really struggling like that..

So I saw my surgeon on Monday and she wasn't pleased with my weight loss. I am 14 weeks post op and have lost 30lbs. She stated that if I don't lose 10-15 pounds in the next 7 weeks until I see her again she thinks I won't lose anymore weight at all. Is my progress really that bad?

Yes I am eating puréed and my doctor allowed me to slowly incorporate more foods if I thought I was ready

Minime15 I also had surgery 11/2 and have only lost 14 pounds, didn't gain any from the hospital. My mother had the surgery 10 years ago and she likes to ask how much am I down and I finally had to tell her I would update her when there is a change. I haven't lost anything in almost two weeks.. So frustrating.

For the late night cravings I have been chewing a lot of gum, also I have trouble getting all the liquids in as well my water intake is something I need to work on. I've just never been much of a drinker either..

Yes I wish I could say it gets easier but it hasn't. It doesn't help that I have two small children that I need to cook for. Lol.. But on the bright side I've lost 5lbs since Monday.

My liquid diet is 2 weeks. It's been awful I love the shake I use its a powder (chocorite in chocolate supreme) I mix with 10oz water and 1 scoop of nectar unflavored protein powder and blend over ice.

So surgery is quickly approaching and I couldn't be more excited, but I'm on day 3 of my liquid diet and I'm going through a wide range of feelings. I'm hungry, I'm losing my temper easier. I don't know if I'm going to make it.

When I woke up today I had previously scheduled my nutritionist appointment on 8/6, surgeon visit 8/26 and psych evaluation wasn't until 11/25. So I figured this process would take me until the end of the year, I already lost the 5% required by the program. But today that all changed, the psych office called and had a cancellation and I went to that and passed with flying colors. While I was at the psych appointment the surgeons office called and rescheduled me for tomorrow.. So with in 24 hours I will have a surgery date that could possibly be pretty soon. So excited and nervous!

So this maybe completely off subject but I need to ask a question.. I have been with my boyfriend for over a year and I met him on a BBW website and I am afraid that once I do the surgery he will no longer be attracted to me. When I spoke to him about getting the surgery he said he was completely supportive and that his "fantasy woman" is not the only thing he is attracted to me for. I don't know how to feel about this. Before he knew about the surgery he was asking me to gain more weight and I just kept saying no. Now that he knows he is sending me exercise and diet regimens to follow. Does anyone have any advice to shed? I just don't know how much stress this surgery will cause our relationship in the end.
