I m now 17 mnths PO and have severe pain left side going from my under my breast towards my back. It hurts to breath and lay down makes it much worse. Mine has been coming and going for the past week but when its on its severe that I have to take a strong pain killer otherwise I can't function. I had my Gallbladder removed two years before my band in about 2006. I had band from 2008 till 2013 and then in 2014 had sleeve done. I went to my PCP and he send me for CT scan and we are waiting for the results I am terrified since I am in so much pain and it hurts also terribly when he pushed in my side and on my upper chest area. I also do have a little enlarged spleen with no known reasons so i am wondering if this not from that and what they would do. I hope to have some answers today but if not I guess it will be mon. He also took blood test but that he wont get results until Mon. I hope that this is not severe. I dont want to go back to my surgeon as he was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I am waiting to see what happens tomm and go from there.If anyone else had this please let me know.

No but if this is not related to the surgery, I would find another surgeon if you can and are able to. Also, I suggest you rate your surgeon everywhere. Without the cons as well as pros, it doesn't help people going forward to get better and the surgeon to lose money on patients they don't get because of their manner.

I have the same thing. Please let me know what is..... I'm going on Nov 15 to my gastric guy, I think my diverticulosis b/c of the peanuts I've been eating.

I had same pain 3 wks from sleeve .. fluid around spleen .. I had a leak .. almost had to have a transfusion .. hope end of problems
