To avoid washing down your food to fast though your pouch, how many minutes + or - do you wait?:omg:

There is some variance in surgeon's orders on this, some say do not drink even before eating. I've seen some folks say 30 minutes after, others say 45 minutes after, and plenty of folks say it's 1 hour they have to wait.

My doc's rules are to stop drinking 15 minutes before meals and wait til an hour after meals. It's best to see what your doctor says.

My doc has the 30/30 rule. No drinking 30 mins before and no drinking 30 mins after.

I am supposed to weight one hour, but sometimes I only make it to 45 minutes.

My doc said I can drink up to the point that I begin to eat but then I have to wait an hour to an hour and a half to drink afterwards.
