Man I feel like I ate too much today. After lunch I had a couple ounces of peaches. For dinner I had a 1/4 whole wheat tortilla with the meat and bean mixer with sour cream. Salsa and avocado sliver but I ate it all and I feel bad. Hope I don't gain weight tomorrow. If I do I'll go back on freaking Protein Shakes. ????

Did your sleeve feel you ate to much or your head?

For dinner, I pretty much had the same thing, slice of roast beef from deli, splash of broth, potato with cheese shreds and a dash of 1% milk. I did add a couple of slices of baked carrots and zucchini.

I did not hit my Protein goal today though.

I am trying to hit 70 or so and I am sitting at 54. I guess I need to finish the 2nd half of my Protein Drink.

That's a good question. I feel fine physically but I feel full (good full not overly full) and everything tasted good and I guess that makes me feel guilty like the old days. The scale will tell the tale. If I've gained weight tomorrow I'm going to scale way back I'm used to starving I did it for years. I don't know I just feel too satisfied and that makes me feel guilty. You did good today I don't know if i could eat two potatoes but yum.

do you feel guilty?

I do not feel guilty.

I stayed under 500 calories, just going over my carbs by 9g.

I started with one 5oz potato and I ate about 1/2 and 1/2 for lunch/dinner.

I shredded one half of a mozzarella stick which I used on both halves of the potato.

The slice of roast beef (each) were less than 1 oz, weighing more like .7 oz.

I could have eaten more, but hey, today is day one.

I am ok with how I did today except for the Protein. If I can eat a full 2oz of the roast beef, then that would have been 13oz, so I need to do a better job of eating more Protein first.

Hopefully the more Fiber and veggies, I will have normal poops. If I am not pooping, I don't seem to lose the weight.

So today, I saw 184 on the scale this morning. I hope I see 184 or less tomorrow too.

To be honest I think just feeling satisfied comes with feeling guilty for me because that's the way it's always been but like you said if the scale shows 216 or less tomorrow I'll just get used to feeling satisfied and happy and still being on track. I need to get my numbers down tomorrow I went a little off today just eating one or 2 ounces and not really thinking about numbers I guess I got tired of doing that for the last two weeks but I'll get on top of it. Thanks partner

It is an adjustment to think if I feel full I am over eating. I am staying on track with the app myfitnesspal. As long as I am logging in every day I stay within calorie count. Sometimes I feel stuffed and I ate to much that day but when I go back and look at my caloric intake I am good. This new stomach is going to take some getting use to.

Like the conversations yesterday it helped me!

so i'm still on track. that being said - i gotta get my tracking in order. i'm gonna get better. it's only been one day of real food but i didn't track at all. so i dunno if i'm getting enough of anything. i know i know! bad girl. i'll do it today or maybe tomorrow lol. i promise! #badgirl

Yay! Congrats on eating and still managing to lose. That is way it is supposed to work!

I stayed the same, still at 184, but that is normal for me lately. Today, I woke up early and got a head start on Breakfast.

I made egg whites again (from the carton) and ate .8 of my 1 egg (3 tablespoons). I added a dash of 1% milk to make it a bit more moist and about a 1/2 teaspoon of shredded mozzarella.

I stuff the egg into a 1/4 whole wheat pita, and had about 10 red seedless grapes. I ate about .8 of the pita 1/4.

After Breakfast, I tried a cup of Decaf coffee and could only manage about a 1/3 of the cup.

I have now moved on to clear Isopure, diluted with Water, to up my Protein.

I gotta get in some walking today. I only walked about 4000 steps yesterday.

had a pot luck at work. i had three pieces of rotini Pasta, couple bites of some shrimp ceviche. little bit of chicken tortilla Soup like four bites (didn't eat any of the chicken tho). one bite of a kiwi, two bites of flan and two bites of chocolate cake. ha! just saying. you aren't restricted you just can't eat much. but still got to taste most things.

stayed away from the rice and tortilla chips. prolly do pears for snack then Protein shake type thing for dinner. tomorrow i'll get on the tracking

i got indigestion but it's to be expected with that smorgasbord of food. i took two pepcid and i'm ok now. :)

Tasting is good. My job is going to be a challenge. Someone is always bringing in donuts, Bagels, pastries, etc. You did great with all that temptation!

I have played it pretty safe today. I have stuck with the roast beef for lunch with 1/2 low fat cheese stick. I could not eat it all. I tried some refried Beans with shredded cheese and sour cream as a recent snack. It was really good.

Thinking about leftovers for dinner. I can just take bites of a soft meat and some soft veggies.

Vomited. Feel little better. Ugh. Gotta get more diligent about measuring my food. ????

Sorry about the vomiting. But at least that provides QUICK relief!

Buy little 2 oz cups or use the medicine 1 oz cups or use that scale.

But, really, I have been putting too much on my plate, and when I feel like I have to burp or I feel something in my chest. I stop because I don't want to throw up.

I figure I can go back to it if I feel hungry later on.

We live and learn.

Tomorrow we start again.

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
