Question About My FitnessPal

So I just joined FitnessPal.com. One of my friends recommended it in order to help me get out of my stall. She told me that maybe I am not getting enough protein and this app will tell me exactly how much protein I am getting.
Anyways I notice that a lot of people here have joined FitnessPal so I had a question. Does the app give predictions on how much weight u will loose following your food plan? Or do I have to upgrade to premium for that? I use to do food diary.com a few years ago and what I liked about that website is that it would give me a prediction on how much weight I would loose after a certain amount of time. Also is there anyway that I can change the recommended calorie intake? Obviously I cannot eat the recommended 1500 calories that they say I have to eat. Every time I input my food log it tells gives me a warning that I am not eating enough calories. Or is there another bariatric friendly app I can use?
