Can someone tell me how long do u stay in the hospital after surgery. Need 2 know so I can have back ups for my kids

I've read different times depending on surgeons. My surgeon said 1 night. But I've heard more from others.

My Surgeon said 2 days.

My insurance pre-approved five nights, but I only stayed two.

I had the sleeve and spent one night in the hospital and went home late afternoon

My surgeon requires 2 nights but I was a rockstar so they let me leave the following day.

Mine was two. No complications at all; that's just what they require. I was glad to be there, getting cared for and having pain meds.
