  4. I have that info somewhere. I asked my nut last time I was there. Not sure where I put it! ????. If I find it, I will post!
  5. Good for you Edie! Glad you are so happy! I'm doing great! Down 37 lbs since surgery. I've been in a stall for a week. Seems like a year! But hoping it breaks in the next few days! Other than that, I'm feeling great and looking much better too!! Keep up the great work!!
  6. [q uote name=retrieverguy" post="4017460" timestamp="1448769938]Way to go. I loved it. So much good energy and active people. Can't wait for another one.[/quote I swore I wouldn't do it again and then I caught myself thinking about the next one later in the day! ????. Lol!
  7. I did a 5K today too! My first ever. I walked though. But finished it and in much better time than I thought. Never could have done that before!!
  8. I am having this problem!! I am 7 weeks out and no matter what I have severe heartburn all day long. And it makes it hard to sleep at night when your throat is on fire! I have been taking OTC meds for it. My doc said to take one dailyntomorrvent stomach ulcers. Well I've been taking at least three a day lately and I still have it! Any help would be appreciated!
  9. I had a day like that. I just ate if I was hungry. I tried to make everything as much protein as possible.
  10. Those are the two I am trying also.
  11. I had the same problem as Glitter eyes!
  12. Just did the same thing as you last Thursday. I had a rough night sleeping that night. Kept waking up with intense burning in my throat. But then by the next day I was over it all. If you have trouble on the night, sleep sitting up as much as you can. It will help! Good luck!
  13. I'm using them right now, but haven't had any blood tests since starting the. I've read several people on here who use them and blood tests all came back fine. I'm using them until I can swallow the vitamins, because the chewable so make me sick!
  14. Turkey, green beans. And I saw a bariatric menu for Thanksgiving and it had an appetizer that I think I'll make: Apple Brie Bacon Crumbles on a toothpick. You put a piece of Apple, them the cheese, then bacon pieces. I think it sounds good!
  15. I was sleeved on 10/6. Have lost 28 lbs at 1 month out. But 9 was pre-op, so around 19 in a month. We are about the same!
  16. What is a picc line? Sent from my SM-N915P using Tapatalk A central venous catheter, also called a central line, is a long, thin, flexible tube used to give medicines, fluids, nutrients, or blood products over a long period of time, usually several weeks or more. A catheter is often inserted in the arm or chest through the skin into a large vein. The catheter is threaded through this vein until it reaches a large vein near the heart.Hope things turn around fast for you!!
  17. @"395Ron" I am soooo happy to see you back with us! I have been so worried! Many prayers were sent up for you and will continue to do so! Hang in there, and you will get stronger everyday!! Chat with us when you can!!
  18. Doing fine now. Felt yucky the next day but now twoDays later back to normal! How about you?!
  19. I puked up beef roast yesterday. 1st puke so far! Felt better after it was out! God awful pain before it came out!!
  20. We seriously just had this conversation at work today! Lol!
  21. That is great news! I've been so worried about him!!
  22. I am at a month post-op. I was stalled and my NUT told me I should trying to get 850-1000 calories a day. If I upped them, I would probably start losing again. I did and I did! Might want to eat just a little more if possible.
  23. I've been stalled for five days. Talked to my nut today and she said I need to up the calories a bit and stay with the program. So that's what I'm going to try! As for Ron, nothing new on his Facebook page since Oct 23rd where a step-son (maybe) posted he loved him. So I'm assuming that's not anything good. I wish we knew!! I think about him all the time!!
  24. I just turned 3 weeks yesterday. I still have that sometimes. It's not super painful, but you can tell it is tender.
