  13. Im looking for people who are around the same surgery date as myself..July 27. I feel like im all alone at my 11 weeks journey. I have noone to compare progress to, noone to lok to to see if im at the point im supposed to be at. This is driving me nuts. Ive lost 52lbs in 11 weeks, so im happy but i just need someone to talk to.
  14. Today I am 11 weeks post op. I have lost 52lbs..My sw was 316 and i am down to 264. I started out wearing a size 24 pants. Im in an 18 now and I wore a size 26/28 top and Im wearing a 20/22 - But still a 3x comfortable and a tight 2x. I have not excersised at all. I keep saying im going to start today but never do...I eat between 800-1000 calories per day of whatever I want. I do however eat healthy. I just dont like sweets the way I used too.

  18. Hi everyone, im 2 months post op, lost 45lbs..doing great. I wish i could lose more faster but i no thats insanity. Lol. Ive been told that hair loss is a big thing after surgery, i have long THICK hair and i haven't noticed anymore hair loss then i did before surgery. It was normal for me to loose alot of hair in the shower BEFORE surgery. Since surgery, ive noticed it not as much. I want to get my hair cut but am fearful of loosing my hair after i cut it.... Does anyone have any success stories or nightmares they can share to help me make a decision? Thanks

  20. July 27 surgery for me. Im down 39 lbs, i eat what i want , but im picky. I can only eat 4 oz, im struggling with water 32oz max a day, i do ok with protien if and only if i drink a protien shake. I have hit 2 stalls at 3wks and 5 wks.
  21. Vitamin E liquid or coconut oil
  22. Hey y'all. Im currently using a regular blender to make my protien drinks. It leaves them so foamy that i dont want to drink them so i didnt some protien shake research and learned i should use a smoothie maker not a blender... What types of equipment are you using?

  27. So i was told that doing chin lifts helped tighten your neck muscles and thereofre your skin. i dont know, i use a really good skin firming cream but i havent had this problem YET. I never really though about ir until now. Yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!
  28. Hi, im 5 weeks post op and ive been feeling hungry since surgery. I was told while in the hospital that I would still feel hungry. Noat Im able to eat real food as I like to call it, lol I feel hungry more often. Like I eat and an hour late "im hungry" If im busy its no big deal, I just drink Water to fill my stomach up..but at night while im laying bed watching tv and my stomach growls what do you do? Well i either ignore it, or I eat a sugar free popsicle or some sugar free pudding. If you are truly hungry you have to feed yourself. You just dont have to feed yourself High fat High Calorie foods and you dont have to eat but a bite or two to feel satsfied. I would ask are you eating enough during the day. Yes you said 3x a day plus 2 Snacks. But what are yur eating? how much? how many caloried are getting? are you eating HEALTHY fats? Heathly fats and Healthy Carbs are what keeps us from feeling hungry. Also, are you drinking liquids righ after eating? they say 30 min so that the liquid doesnt empty our stomach so fast so we stay fuller longer. If you dont track you intake yet,,try getting an app. I use sparkpeople.com but ther are plenty out there to choose. I record EVERYTHING i put in my mouth. so I know how much protien i ate, how many cards, how much fat, sodium, etc.... and calories...if you dont eat enough calories your body will go into starvation mode... Stay focused and take care of yourself....
  29. I was just wondering is there were others out there who would like to share some ideas and recipes for protien shakes? What type of protien do you use? What Flavor do you like? Do you use Water, Milk or Soy, almond etc...? Do you use a blender or a shaker? Do you drink it over ice? Im currently using Isopure Zero Carb Creamy vanilla with a banana every morning made with milk. I put it in the blender and then pour it over ice to keep it cold. I used to blend it with ice bI cant stand the foam at top. I would like to try other recipes but im scared to venture--ok im scared to waste money on a product i wont like..I tied
  30. Im 5 wks post op. I have been eating since week 1. Soft foods of course...but now im on solids and have been since week 3. I was eating chicken no problem. .i have noticed that things i ate fine last week make me thhow up this week. I take a Vitamin every day and i take 1000 mg of b12 daily. This helps so much. I just bought liquid b12 from GNC as other sleevers i no use this. I would like to suggest if you can..try shrimp...its the best food i can eat. I can eat 4oz at a time with it and my stomach likes it alot. Other foods im still at 2-3oz. I also use a straw. I cant get liquids without it and have no issues with it. Im currently at a stall. I fluctuate between 283-280. Its our bodies way of catching up to whats going on with it. Keep your focus. Try making protien Popsicles like with strawberry
  31. After surgery i was taking a HUGE chewable vitamin i bought from unjury. I CANT STAND the chaulkyness. It literally made me gag trying to chew it. So i bought a bariatric vitamin called celebrate . Its working just fine but i have to take 3 pills. Im looking for suggestions on a 1 pill non-chewable bariatric vitamin that provides the requirements of the 100%.......
