  1. I'm October 6th also!!
  2. All offices do it differently. My office wouldn't schedule until I got insurance approval. But other offices go ahead and schedule.

  4. Me too! Hard to believe you can be so excited and nervous that much all at the same time. But I am!! We got this! Before we know it, we will be up and at it, and never look back!
  5. That is so frustrating!! I had a similar experience. Supposed to have surgery in July. They drug their feet and now I'm October! It's so hard when you just want to get it done and over with! Good luck!
  6. I have been so pumped and ready for this surgery. The last few days I have had terrible anxiety and my stomach is in knots. My surgery is three weeks away. I think I am nervous about this and it's going to be a long three weeks if I feel like this the whole time. Is this normal?! I do want to be healthier! I don't know why I'm feeling so bad!!

  9. I've read different times depending on surgeons. My surgeon said 1 night. But I've heard more from others.

  15. This gives me hope! I have had two c sections. If I did that, I can do this!!
  16. Ok, be honest with me. Does anyone regret that they can't eat some of the foods they used to and live in the same way? I am not a fan of cooking and I'm a grab it and go person. I'm worried that down the line I will miss all that and regret not being able to live that way. I like easy! Which is what got me in this mess in the first place. So I know I'll be better off health wise. Just wondering how I'll feel about the food! Thanks!
  17. I teach first! So I know sitting will be hard! I do a lot of small groups so hope that helps!
  18. I'm a special ed teacher, I'm doing 1st week off and possibly half days the 2nd week. Depending upon how I'm feeling.I'm a teacher too. I'm taking one day shy of two weeks. It will be rough going back, but going to try to sit as much as possible. Yeah right!! Lol I'm October 6th too!!
  19. My surgery is scheduled Oct. 6th--5 weeks from today!!
  20. My office wouldn't schedule the surgery until final approval from insurance.
