I'm going to be honest...I was horrible at doing my 2 week liquid diet, I didn't even really do it until the week before. I just made sure I was clean for 3 days before and ate light stuff. I also don't even do Protein Drinks now. Haven't since my liquid diet. I have a sensitive stomach. I have ibs. So they never sat well with me. Alot of the Protein drinks have milk too and that's so hard on my stomach. I loved Premier Protein but ended up almost throwing up later on. I tried organic Protein Powder and it was like drinking chalk. I tried the nectar stuff everyone talks about but it has a horrible taste too. Alot of the people are doing Unjury unflavored or something else, can't remember. I was at home most of the time when I did drink them. I also found that drinking them at room temperature, worked better so I never did anything cold. Also after surgery, it's gonna hurt drinking cold Water the 1st couple days, so room temperature is the best way. Sorry I'm not much help.

Hope everyone had a great Easter. It was my 1st holiday with a big meal and it was so hard not being able to keep eating and being around such yummy food. It gets better as time goes on. Hope so anyways!

Bloomer, it's April! Can you believe it? I am so excited for you guys. I can't wait for you guys to be on this journey with me. We all should definitely meet up sometime to finally meet. I am 7 weeks post op already.....I feel like March flew by. I'm at 231 I believe. I started my monthly so I don't lose and I'm bloated a bit so the scale doesn't read right at that time lol. I see Ivan on Wednesday. I was supposed to see him last week but got sick with a sinus infection. I've lost 18 pounds since their 2 week check up appointment. Which was Feb 24th. I want to lose 2 more so I can he down 20. I've been walking alot at work. Since I work in retail and our store is kind of long. I at least do over 6000. Not much but it's better then nothing lol. I have a swimming pool so this summer will definitely do that. I do feel a difference in my body now. It's nice. The most thing I hate right now is I've got restless leg syndrome or insomnia. My body doesn't want to stop moving but my mind and eyes are so tired. I'm talking to Ivan about this. It sucks. And to be honest, I'm not doing the phase diets anymore. I pretty much eat what I want. I watch what I eat obviously. I crave fruit and veggies alot. I've been obsessed with broccoli lol. Bananas don't sit well, they sit heavy. Applesauce does that too. I want a salad but haven't tried it yet. I plan too soon.

@@byrdbabies ~ Did you get a date yet? We are all at different spots on this journey.

@@molly ~ Just curious why you're not following the phases? I'm scared to death to deviate from the plan due to concerns I will fail.

@@Tssiemer1 ~ What's the PAT?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
