I decided to make the decision of gastric sleeve when I left my boyfriend of 5 Years. We have a 4 year old son and I felt so insecure and miserable. My health was deterriating and getting worse by the day. I just couldn't take it anymore. My unhealthy eating and lifestyle habits were rubbing off on my son and I knew I needed to do something about. So in February I went to see my bariatric Dr and yesterday august 18th I was just approved for surgrey!!!! My insurance was super easy. I have partnership health plan of California and they approve mostly anyone with a bmi of 40 and over. I had some co morbidities like high blood pressure, severe heart burn and also discovered that o have a hiatal hernia that he will repair in surgery. Today i am calling to get my surgrey date ☺ my pre op appointment is Tuesday!
