Tomorrow is my Surgery!

Hello All.

I'm 5'7 and 225. Going in for my Sleeve tomorrow. I'm just worried that I won't be able to handle the surgery. Otherwise I'm all set. Have read the good and the bad. But it's time I felt healthy. I need to enjoy life again and to work out. I'm 52

Congratulations @@Zweiz, it will get better. I also had hiccups and nausea while in the hospital, but once I started walking everything started falling into place. I have not taken my nausea meds for the last two days. I'm one week post op today and went back to work last Monday. Hang in there sweetheart!

The hiccups are awful! I started getting them almost as soon as I woke up. I tried holding my breath, everything and they wouldn't stop. They finally stopped after I was able to at least eat a few ice chips. After I was able to sip Water they went away.

I hope you can get rid of them soon. The Fluid week goes quickly, after you are through it, but when starting it, 7 days seems like forever.

Good luck!!

I actually forgot to weigh myself before being operated on. I'm going home today. This is not easy. I still can't drink enough. I'm going for coconut water.

I know I have to hang in there for a few more days to feel better. I did ask to have see my stomach. I'm taking it home to plant it under a tree or something. Lots of junk in thee to make anything grow.

God Bless All

Good luck! The journey starts now.
