How much did you lose the first month?

I just had my vsg on 7/24/15 and am curious as to how much people have lost within the first few months? Also, what kind of foods/drinks did you find most easily to eat/drink the first month after the surgery? Thanks!!

I will be 1 month post op tomorrow. From the beginning of my 2 week pre-op diet to today I am down 51 lbs. I have stuck with the basics. EAS Protein shakes, Jello, Soups, Greek yogurt (yoplay 100 cal,) Those were helpful in getting the protein i needed.

Good luck with your journey. Hope this helps

I lost 11 lbs before the surgery on the liquid only diet and then lost about another 15 that same month. So 26 total the first month.

I'm down 44 lbs since my surgery (June 9) and a total of about 65 since I first went to my doctor. Good protein shakes, yogurt with a lot of protein, sugar free jello and Popsicles are also great

I lost 21 pounds the first month. I didn't have to do an extensive pre-op diet (only 3 days). Not as much as others, but I guess every person is different. :)

I lost 28.2 in the first month.......

Hey that's when I had mine!!!! We're bariatric buddies Ashley!???? Did you have your post op yet? I was seen today , lost 14#,s. And wore a dress there that I could not get into comfortably before surgery and it felt great!
