Feb Bandsters July Challenge

Recommended Posts

My dd and I walked 2 miles again yesterday at our park. I'm glad my kids are getting into the exercise thing w/ me. My 17 y/o/ is a cheerleader and has to run a few miles and swim for an hour before practice every day , but she is only 130 lbs ( sickening, I know ) so that's no problem for her. Hoping to walk again today before picking up my 12y/o at camp - goodbye peace ! lol ! Like I said we're going hiking tomorrow. I found 3 state parks we can stop at w/ trails, waterfalls , etc. Sunday is our 18th wedding anniv., so not sure what we'll be doing then. I've finally lost another lb. this week . probably from all of the walking.

I'm back from vacation and got on my beloved scale!!!!!!! I lost 4lbs!:whoo: I have just entered 'onederland' for the first time since as long as I can remember!!!!!! Darn it feels good.

As far as food goes, I have just had Protein shakes today.

Wishing us all continued success.

I got another day of exercising, I pulled out the old Billy Banks Basic training DVD. It kicks my butt. Since the scale doesn't seem to be moving I gotta get myself moving.

I'm sorry I don't have time to really read or write at the moment, but had to touch base! (This is our month of COMPANY!) I've felt so adrift without y'all, but I have been getting in the exercise... up to 11 of 20 now! And I'm trying hard to watch what I eat, too!

3 birthday parties & 2 reunions down. Four more parties & one week-long reunion still to come! I love this kind of summer, filled with friends & family, but it can be hard on the waistline. Thank goodness for the LapBand or I know this would be a serious GAIN month...

I have a nutrition consult on Thursday & will record my official 5-month weigh-in then! That's right, 5 months Banded! Wahoo!!! It doesn't feel like it's really been all that long!!!

:whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:

How's everybody else doing?!?!?

Hey Zannie been wondering where ya were girl!

Travelgirl i did not go to the REO concert. HUbby got tickets and he was going to go with me. I knew he would be miserable and have a bad time so I gave the tickets away. There will be other concerts.

hello, looks like I found this tread just in time.

I am going to commit to level 2/moderate. Which means I will have to get in my workout every day for the rest of the month. It is a good time for me to start as my youngest DD is traveling with my parents and my 16 yo DD is working at camp, so no great excuses about not having time to workout.

I am 2 lbs from Onederland and I have been here for about 3 weeks, I know what I need to do, and I am happy I found a thread to report my progress on.

So far, I am down from a size 18/20 in woman's to a size 16 in the misses departments. It is so nice to be able to shop in the normal size stores again.

My primary focus right now is to get under 200, then it is to fit in my wedding gown atleast get it zipped through the waist (the bust won't ever fit, because I have gotten implants since the wedding)

We were married 5 years ago, and I had gained 50 pounds....ouch.

Anyway, hope you all don't mind me joining in the middle of the month!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
