Can you feel a band slip?

Last night I had the weirdest sensation. I was laying in bed on my side with a pillow propped against my belly for support (only been a week since band was put in) and I could feel my stomach grumbling like I had air bubbles rolling around in there. Then I felt what I could only explain as an air bubble slipping through the port hold up into the pouch. I'm afraid maybe it was actually the band slipping. Do they slip that easy?

No, bands don't slip that easy, not at all. It's properly some form of GAS. You are to early in the process to be worrying about a slip unless you have a bad cold or some type of flu syptoms that are making you throw-up every mintue.

Don't worry, just follow your doctor's instruction. This period is important to securing your band & port into place for the long haul so be good.

Congratulations & welcome to bandland!

I dont think thats what you are feeling, you are going to have alot of different feelings, dont forget you are healing, if you are really concerned give your doc a call.
