Hi, I live in North Bay Ontario, I have been banded for awhile and after having some medical issues I am finally lossing some weight.

:cool2:I think I am dying, for real, I had a fill and they had to take half out , I felt the pressure release when he took half out, now I am throwing up well its all the acid comeing up which I have never had before. I want to be able to just drink without it makeing me feel like I ate a 7 course meal, does anyone have any thoughts!!!

Help: I had a fill and they had to take half back out because I was to tight now I am dying from acid that I am bringing uo, any suggestions on how to stop that

I have a question, I had a fill today, they put 5cc's in a 10cc band, I left and I could not drink my coffee which is not a good thing. I went right back and he took half out, I could feel the pressure being released it was great. I have had an acidy stomach ever since, I cannot eat and it hurts in my back. Just wondering if anyone out there has any thoughts on this.

Hey everyone I have a question. I finally received a fill well actually 2 now I think I have 3.5CC's I can feel it but I am wondering if you experinced banders could tell me how much weight is good in a month? I have lost about 12 pounds, and I am currently going to the gym and doing the treadmill daily, I dont know if that is a good loss or not, I almost feel discouraged because my caloric intake is very small compared to what it was before I really cannot eat much less without passing out. Please HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEE! LOL! Sherri

I have since moved but I lived in Cold Lake and saw Doctor Davie in Bonnyville, he does work out of Edmonton but did travel out my way. He was really great and I would recommend him. Sherri

I have a question, I had a fill a week ago, its pretty tight but I am losing weight. It seems like today its not tight at all, just all the sudden, does anyone know why that would happen?

Hey Bandsters! I had a fill one week and one day ago, I have lost 10 pounds, do you think that is 2 much? I am not sure if I am eating enough, this morning I had a muffin which I was surprised went down and did not come back up, at lunch I had a small whole wheat pita very thin with a spoonful of tuna on it. For supper I had about 6 green Beans, 3 ounces of salmon which most of it came back up. Do you think I should be eating more? I am drinking Water and I dont feel bad but I am worried that it might not be enough. The fill was my first and it was 2.5 cc's

I cannot seem to eat much of anything, I had a fill on wednesday and I am very restricted, I did manage some protein yesturday, any suggestions

where can I get the info, I would like to get in on this program.

Is there a Doctor in Ottawa that will do a fill? I have a band but moved from Alberta to Ontario and I need to find a doctor that knows what he is doing. My family doctor tried to fill it but no luck. Sherri

Hello Banders I have a question, I was banned in Alberta Canada and have moved to Ontario, Canada. My doctor tried to fill my band yesturday but I dont think he had the proper needle, so I am not sure it actually worked. I was only filled once before we were moved by the military, how can I find out what size of an needle actually works? Sherri

I dont think thats what you are feeling, you are going to have alot of different feelings, dont forget you are healing, if you are really concerned give your doc a call. Cheers Sherri

I am taking them now and find they help alot, although I am not losing much weight, getting kind of ticked! I got mine from Walmart

meat is a hard one, fish is good for me and I have been able to eat steak which is kind of weird, many of my friends that have had the surgery told me that I would not be able to eat it. It all depends I guess, some days are different then others.

Rice, bread and some meats, but the worst I have to say is rice!
