I am a 23 year old that lives in long Island, NY and I have been thinking about getting the band. My weight has been getting out of control so I started doing some research and I came across this site. I feel like I have all the information that I need to start me on my journey right here and I just want to say thank you very much to everyone one for sharing their experiences.

    I'm also from Long Island and so far i have been more then happy with the people at NYU. It has been worth the trip into the city.

    Which doc did you use?

    My Doctor is Dr. Feilding but Dr. Ren did my mothers banding and she is over 70 and came out of the surgury just fine.
