  1. I was wondering if you have to go to the seminar that is associated with the hospital that you are planning on getting the lap band? Because I live in long Island, but have been hearing wonderful things about Dr. Ren from NYU. So I wanted to go to a free seminar closer to where I live.
  2. Wasabubble butt and FaithMD thank you so much for your help. Faithmd I am diffenetly going to do what you said first thing monday morning.
  3. I just started looking into the band, and I really would like to do the surgery so I tried to look up if my husband's insurance covered the procedure, and I found this Weight loss programs whether or not they are under medical supervision. Weight loss programs for medical reasons are also excluded. This was in the Will not cover section. Do you think that this diffenetly means that they wont cover the procedure?
  4. Thank you juliegeraci
  5. Which doc did you use?
  6. I am a 23 year old that lives in long Island, NY and I have been thinking about getting the band. My weight has been getting out of control so I started doing some research and I came across this site. I feel like I have all the information that I need to start me on my journey right here and I just want to say thank you very much to everyone one for sharing their experiences.
