How exciting! I wish you luck. It's so close till your surgery. Are you on a pre-op diet?

Yes I am, I can have regular things just way smaller portions and I chose to stop eating carb breads Pasta etc. no Snacks and 64oz of Water I follow the pre op meal plan they provide in the binder.< /p>

I had my surgery on August 4th not loving it lets say its painful on the left side and the gas they fill you with takes a while to get out of your system as I still have it I am just now able to start puree

/ soft foods .I just had some egg could only eat about half of the scrambled egg ..but just the flavor in my mouth was so awesome .

Midtown sunshine! I want to put a schedule on my phones alarms to remind me of when to take my pills and drink my Protein and Water. I think I am going to need help. I think I need a get up and walk on it too.

I was sleeved on 8/4/15 and I am very happy I did it, but having a few issues.

One week out I can only keep down Water. I have a problem with crushing pills. I was taking kiddie Tylenol for pain, it's extra sweet and thick and I can't believe that kids take this (I stopped taking it).

I have "spit up" or " vomited" a total of 3 times in one week on things other than Water.

And I have intense diarrhea (sorry TMI)

So... I called my doc and his office is all cool like everything is ok that's normal...

I am sorta confused...

I am going for my one week check up today and I will give him an earful.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
