Hey folks. I am trying g to get an estimate of what plastic surgery costs when reach goal. I may need a little bit, my tummy, but my wife will need more. I have tried to search here but couldn't find approximate costs of those that had it done. Probably looking for a comparison between US and Mexico. I imagine we will use Mexico due to out of pocket for these surgeries. How much for like the arms, legs, breasts, and belly. Thanks for anyone that has some insight or experience. Also, how long are you out of work or the recovery after these and how painful is recovery? Thanks

I had my procedures done in Florida. The cost breakdown was:

Breast lift & augment: $8K

Abdominoplasty: $12K

Brachioplasty: $8k

Groin incision thigh lift: $7k

Posterior body lift with auto augmentation: $8k

Lipo to 3 areas: $1800 each area= $5400

Total cost of the fab new me: $48,400.00

How long is recovery, like missed work time?

Mine was covered by my insurance as "medically necessary." I am SO pleased with the results. Best decision ever. The first 2-3 weeks were very, very difficult, I'm not going to lie. but I would do it again in a heart beat. For me though getting a very good surgeon was key. I've seen some pics on here of some not so fabulous tummy tucks, and then some great ones. I feel like picking a great surgeon was more important than cost to me - even if paying out of pocket. If you get a consultation, they will give you a ball-park figure of what it will cost, and some will give you a deal if you are getting multiple things done.
