Well I got through yesterday, but several times in the evening I wanted to get up and find a snack. I just drank some water and then finally took a sleeping pill so I wouldn't have to think about food anymore. This morning I am not feeling very hungry but am having my first shake, vitamins, and some water. Banana is next ....

OH and I went from 161 to 157...lots of water weight I am sure.

I targeted my 2 week pre op diet today! Ugh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ how ppl do this Lolz. I had broth, 3oz of stewed beef with about less than a 1/4 cup of rice with beans, 2 cups of protein with skim plus and a yogurt. Oh yea not to mention 5 cups of water! Smh

You are allowed to have rice and beans?!!? That is awesome. No carbs at all for me :( My friend's kid was eating a plate of mac and cheese in front of me, and I wanted to ****** that fork out of her hand so bad!
lmaoooo I would've snuck a bite but yea I can have starches but everything is measured ????????

Well two days pre surgery diet and I survived and even lost about 6 lbs. Had a mild headache yesterday and felt tired, low on energy. I got through the day and went to bed early.

Today I changed up my fruit from banana to a strawberry blueberry mix. Also having an caribbean cooler nectar shake. Very good shakes so far the nectar I have tried...lemon tea and fuzzy naval? peach flavor. The caribbean cooler is my favorite so far!!

I am not loving pre surgery diet, but I bet I will do much better on just fluids after surgery having taken it down to this level prior to surgery.

How is everyone else doing??

I hate the shakes so much I prefer not to eat vs suffer through any more whey protein (I am not and will never be a shake/smoothie person). I'm surviving off my snowcone machine, lol. A scoop of unflavored unjury protein mixed with water and sugar free drink flavor, freeze it into ice cubes, run it through the snowcone machine, BAM! That's the story of my life right now.

Days off are getting hard because I'm not used to inactivity, so most of my challenge has been staying busy and battling head hunger. 11.5 days!

I am doing well on my high protein pre op diet that includes Premier protein 30g my Go Bananas Muscle Milk 40g. I also include my leafy vegetables with baked chicken, fish & eggs. I will be doing my liquid on the 8th & 9th then my big day is Friday the 10th!!! I am excited for my tool to help me to my goal of a healthy lifestyle!

Hi all, my date is Monday july 6th! Can't wait!!

Already ate Everthing except my vegi and one shake. Trying to fill my mind and my time so I don't eat. Today kinda sucks cause I want to eat everything bad.

I feel you! I feel so restless/idle all the time. I moved my laptop upstairs away from the kitchen, and on my days off, I get out of the house. I work constantly and also go to school, so the boredom is what's killing me. When I have five weeks off after surgery with no school OR work, I have no idea what I'm gonna do. I'll be clawing at the walls going nuts. I may just buy a season pass to Disney just to have someplace to walk around!

I am a little later than everyone else, July 20 for me. I am surprised how much the pre-diet requirements vary. I only have to do an all liquid diet (any liquid, not just clear) for 2 days before surgery and my post op diet is liquid for 2 weeks. I am so excited though.

What is something that you are excited to do once you have lost weight? For me, I can't wait to play soccer again!

Ok sol I haven't really drank the shakes, I've been living off powerade zero and sugar free ice pops. I had a prep and consent appointment with my doctor on Thursday and I told her that, she said I can have an egg once a day if I want!!!!! I was like omg thank you!!!! So Tuesday is my pre surgical testing and Thursday is my apt with my primary to be cleared!!! Then my surgery is one week from Monday!!!! 8 days!!!! That means I'm on day six of my pre op diet and there are only 8 days left of this!!!! I can do that!!

I start my pre-op diet on Monday. I am dreading that! I went for my testing which took forever and then I go to my PCP for clearance on the 8th. My date is Monday the 13th.
