I haven't posted in awhile because I have been bad, bad bad! Maybe if I start again I will be more mindful of what I am eating so here goes....

B: chocolate True Results Protein Shake

L: Went to Mimi's Cafe: Quiche Loraine w/Swiss, baby greens salad w/fat free balsamic vin (couple bites), fruit (chunk of watermelon and honeydew melon)

S: Bag of Pnut M&M's [see...BAD!]

D: Nothing because I've been grazing since lunch on the Quiche and ate the whole thing.

I guess if you look at it...the only thing I ate today really was the whole Quiche. But I feel so heavy now I feel guilty so I'm only drinking Water for dinner! ...the m&m's didnt help either...

So I got a much needed fill today - although a little suspicious that it might be a wee bit too much - I'll wade it out till monday and see. So:

L: muscle milk light chocolate shake

S: 1 activia yogurt, frozen

D: will be gazpacho or smoked salmon bisque - haven't decided

making watermelon mojitos

What exactly is gazpacho and how do you make it?

I ended up picking the smoked salmon bisque - hard choice though but decided something warm would be good for me band - especially since I am about to be enjoying ice cold watermelon mojitos!

Gazpacho (will be having tomorrow) is a chilled Soup - different versions but basically a pureed soup of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, vinegar, herbs and spices - think salsa flavors with more veggies. If I wasn't on liquids - I would serve it with chunked avocado and mexican grilled shrimp. SOOOOO good!

how do you make this GG?

The recipe calls for regular squash, but I used spaghetti squash. You can also half the recipe too. Lowfat mayo and sour cream can be used as well.

Cook 2 spaghetti squash or 2 lbs regular squash, however you prefer. Sautee a small chopped onion and set aside. In a good sized bowl, mix together 1/2 c. mayo, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix, 2 eggs, 3/4 c. cream or half and half, sauteed onions, and 1 cup of your favorite cheese. Fold in cooked squash and pour into a casserole dish. Bake on 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. I also added a little extra cheese on top at the end, but you don't have to. DH wasn't crazy about the ranchy taste, but I liked it. I suppose you don't have to use that if you don't want to.

Today:

B- 1 c. Hood milk, mixed in 2 tbsp of DiVinci SF chocolate Syrup

L- Insides of a cheeseburger

S- Fresh sliced mushrooms dipped in mustard

D- Cracker Barrel- kids grilled chicken strips and green Beans

S- Atkins shake

Today....

B – ½ C. curry chicken salad, 8 wheat thins Fiber crackers

L – 10 smoked almonds - I wasn’t hungry when I had time to eat and was afraid to eat much at the last minute. I had several meetings this afternoon and didn’t want to make gurgling pouch noises. Does this happen to anybody else?

S – 1 C Hood Milk

D – 3oz grouper, ½ C. creamed spinach.

S – 2 bite size sf coconut candies.< /span>

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
