Try to stick in there. It looks like you are still new to your band and I am not sure how many fills you have had. This could be part of the reason you are losing slowly still, because you don't have good restriction yet.

This is a great thread to get ideas on what to eat. Make sure you are weighing and measuring your food and getting in your Water. Follow the rules that your doc gave you, that is something that will really help get you to your goal.

It can be frustrating at times. I was on a 4, close to 5, month plateau and I just started losing again.

Luluc gives good advice about mixing up your calories and exercise. That is something that got my weight loss going again. You can't eat the same thing and do the same exercise every day - you need to mix it up so your body doesn't settle into a rhythm.

Stick with this, it can be slow going, but you can do it!

krtork has given you some excellent advice. I completely agree.

Today-

B-coffee w/torani Syrup, sandwich thins w/jam

L-sandwich thins, w/slice pepper cheese

D-baked salmon, polenta w/parmesan (thanks KC!)

Today

B – Protein Shake made with frozen peaches

L – 1 C. club salad

S - .5 C leftover club salad

D – 1 C spaghetti w/ meatballs (Dreamfields spaghetti and turkey meatballs. I’ve found that Dreamfields Pasta is MUCH easier for me to eat than regular pasta. I believe it’s because it swells less in my stomach. The fact that it is reduced carb is a bonus. My family doesn’t know the difference. Expensive but worth twice the price to me.)

S – Maybe another Protein shake

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
